Pirojpur University of Science and Technology’s human chain against bloody aggression in Rafah and Gaza Palestine

Teachers and students of Pirojpur University of Science and Technology participated in a human chain program in the premises of the administrative building today (April 7) to protest the barbaric attacks and indiscriminate massacres by Israeli forces in Rafah and Gaza, Palestine. In the human chain, which started at 11 am, teachers, students and employees of various departments of the university held banners, festoons and placards and strongly condemned the Israeli aggression and demanded an immediate end to the massacre.
Participants in the human chain arrived with festoons and placards saying “Stop this bloodbath”, “We want the liberation of Palestine”, “Let the genocide end”, “We see human but no humanity”, etc.
The speakers said in their speeches, “This attack by the Israeli forces is a gross violation of humanity and has shaken the world’s conscience. They also said that this atrocity against innocent women, men and children is unacceptable in any way. The Pirojpur University of Science and Technology family stands by the Palestinian people in this difficult time and will always be vocal in their support for their just rights.” The Vice Chancellor of the university and other high-ranking officials also participated in this human chain program and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Dean of the Faculty of Science of the University, Dr. Akhtar Hossain said, “Everything has been destroyed in the Gaza Strip in Palestine, where human limbs are flying in the air due to bomb attacks. I call on the international community, including the UN and OIC, to take steps to stop this war and provide relief there.”
University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Shahidul Islam said in his speech, “We strongly condemn and protest the barbaric attacks by Palestine. In the last 18 months, Israeli forces have killed about 55,000 people, including about 883 children. But the world is silent on this killing.”
He added, “We call on the world’s conscience, starting with the United Nations, to step forward to stop this inhumane killing and demand its immediate end.”
The human chain ended peacefully, with participants calling for international pressure against Israel and justice for the Palestinian people.
