Pirojpur Municipality BNP has conducted a verification process to form ward committees by verifying BNP member forms in 9 wards of Pirojpur Municipality. On Monday afternoon, April 21, at the district BNP office, the final verification of member forms and the selection process to form ward committees were held. Kazi Rawnakul Islam Tipu, Assistant Secretary for Forest and Environment Affairs of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party Central Executive Committee and Convener of the Pirojpur District BNP Conference Preparation Committee, was present as the chief guest.
The meeting was presided over by Municipal BNP Convener Sheikh Shahidullah Shahid, with District BNP Convener Principal Alamgir Hossain, Joint Convener Sheikh Riaz Uddin Rana, Central Executive Committee Member Elijah Zaman, District BNP Member Sheikh Hasanul Kabir Lin present as special guests. The program was moderated by Municipal BNP Member Secretary Md. Charowar Hossain Howlader. Various leaders of Municipal BNP were present at the time.
At the meeting, Nationalist Party Central Executive Committee Forest and Environment Affairs Joint Secretary and Pirojpur District BNP Conference Preparation Committee convener Kazi Rawnakul Islam Tipu said that the verification process of the forms distributed to each ward and each village for collecting members is ongoing. We have given the forms to 9 wards of Pirojpur Municipality by committees and they are being verified. Among them, we have placed those who are more dedicated in Group A, and Group B and Group C are placed in this way in stages. The remaining members will remain as members of our party, leaving only those members who are needed for the council of the ward BNP in the future. Our municipal ward committee will have 71 members. We have received a wonderful response for the council. Everyone has happily filled up the forms.
