A discussion meeting was held in front of the residence of district BNP convener Alamgir Hossain on November 18 at 3.00 pm organized by Pirojpur Sadar Upazila Teachers Association to involve the teachers in order to implement the 31 points of state structure repair presented by BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman.
The meeting started with introduction of teachers, recitation of Holy Quran, recitation of Gita and performance of national anthem.
In the meeting chaired by Member Secretary of Pirojpur District Teachers Employees Union and Acting Headmaster of DRS Secondary School Asaduzzaman Khan, under the chairmanship of Mir Nazrul Islam, convener of Pirojpur Sadar Upazila Teachers Association, as the chief guest, the convenor of Pirojpur District BNP discussed the goals of implementation of 31 points and the future activities of teachers. , Member of the Central Executive Committee of BNP, Convenor of the Barisal Division of the Teacher Employees Union Principal Alamgir Hossain.
Md Shahjahan Gazi, convenor of Teacher Employees Union Pirojpur District Branch, President of Pirojpur District Teachers’ Association Enayet Kabir Khan, lifetime donor member of Tejdaskathi Secondary School and repeatedly elected president Ahsan Kabir were present as special guests.
During this time, teachers and teachers of different schools gave valuable speeches and expressed their opinions.
In the speech of the chief guest, Principal Alamgir Hossain said that until now all the facilities for teachers have been provided during the tenure of BNP government. He also discussed the 31 points of state structure repair presented by BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman on 13 July 2023 before the nation and sought full cooperation from teachers.
