On the occasion of World Human Rights Day, a free medical service program was held on the personal initiative of Barrister Hasnat Jamil.
On Sunday (December 10) morning, this medical service program was held in Kariyata North Paschim Para village of Hadira Union of Gopalpur Upazila of Tangail.
A 5-member medical team of Dhaleswari Hospital provided round-the-clock medical care in the free medical service program. Among the doctors present were Dhaleswari Hospital Gynecologist Dr. Cynthia Ali Jui, Nose, Ear and Throat Specialist Dr. AKJ Murad, General Practitioner Dr. Nishat Tasnim and nurses of the hospital were present.More than a hundred midwives from remote areas and low-income people took the service.
 In this regard, Bangladesh Human Rights Implementation Foundation’s Central Monitoring Affairs Secretary and Dhaleshwari Hospital Director Barrister Hasnat Jamil said that good treatment is one of the five basic human rights. This is just my smallest effort from the thoughts of the helpless people so that they are not deprived of medical care. He also expressed his determination to provide free medical services to people in remote areas in the future.
