The people of the country do not trust the words of BNP or Tariq Rahman. People are now busy with the election festival. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan made such a comment in the briefing at the Secretariat on Tuesday (November 28).
The Home Minister said that those who have nothing to do are making empty noises that they will bring down the government. Knowing that defeat is certain, BNP is looking for ways of violence without coming to the elections.
Regarding BNP leaders in jail, Asaduzzaman said that as many of their leaders are in jail, there are specific cases against them. They ransacked, burned buses, burned people. We identified these incidents and filed a case against them and they were arrested. They also committed seditious activities at various times. No one was arrested without reason.
He said, people are looking forward to see their favorite candidate win the next elections. At that time, the law and order forces mentioned under the Election Commission and said that Awami League also wants BNP to come to the polls.
