Staff Reporter : A 12-member executive committee has been formed in the triennial election of Paba Upazila Press Club of Rajshahi. The election was held at the Paba Upazila Parishad seminar room on Monday (December 16) afternoon.
The presidents of the election are Kazi Nazmul Islam (Daily Sonali Sangbad), General Secretary Sohel Mahabub (Daily Notun Prabhat) and Organizing Secretary Ziaul Kabir Swapan (Daily Sunshine).
The other members of the executive committee are, Vice Presidents Sarkar Dulal Mahbub (Daily Sunshine) and Zahid Hasan Palash (Daily Sonar Desh), Joint Secretary Mesbahul Alam Dinar (Daily Sangram and Notun Prabhat), Finance Secretary- Asit Kumar (Uttar Kanth), Publicity Secretary- Mahabul Islam (Daily Sonar Desh and Daily Bangladesh), Office Secretary Md. Sabuj Islam (Uttara Praditin).
Besides, the executive members of the committee are Md. Moin Uddin (Dainik Amar Desh), Md. Yusuf Chowdhury (Dainik Amer Rajshahi) and Md. Ziaul Haque Zia (Rajshahi Sangbad).
Earlier, the annual general meeting of the executive committee was held. At the beginning of the meeting, deep respect was paid to the martyrs of the great liberation war and the student movement against discrimination. After that, several decisions were taken after discussing the important agenda of the organization.
