Orientation workshop for members of Community Change Agent (CCA) group was held in Jhalkathi to implement Legal Aid Program to provide free legal advice, services and support to poor and helpless people. Under USAID’s legal assistance activity project, Non-Governmental Organization Transformation organized a day-long orientation workshop at Upazila Auditorium on Thursday.
In the morning, former General Secretary of Upazila Sports Association Shahjahan Molla spoke at the workshop held under the chairmanship of Jhumu Karmakar, Barisal District Coordinator and Project Officer Md. Azizul Haque of Transition Law Support Activity.
In the orientation workshop, a detailed discussion on the implementation of the legal aid program of the government was conducted and a documentary film was shown through a projector. It was attended by members of the Community Change Agent (CCA) group.
