The advisor of the interim government in charge of the Ministry of Finance and Planning commented that fixing law and order is now the main task. Saleh Uddin Ahmed.
He said this to reporters at the secretariat on Saturday (August 10) at noon.
Saleh Uddin Ahmed said, a responsibility has been assigned to us at the time of exhaustion. I say it has been given by all the students. This is a very difficult time. Our concern is that this is coming in the struggle of the students of the country. Our main task now is to fix law and order. If we can’t do this, then there will be problems. We are trying to immediately fix the law and order situation not only in the roads but also in opening the banks. Among the challenges that exist, there are economic challenges. In general, we will immediately try to address the problem of inflation.
My view is that if the economy stagnates, it may slow down. But it takes a long time to stop (like a car). Pressure on their banks. So I want to speed it up.
He said, there is endless employment in Bangladesh. So I think there will be no problem if there is leadership and management. We will take a smooth path to solve everything quickly and move forward, we don’t want to stay for too long, in that case Bangladesh can move forward.
Earlier on Friday, the chief adviser of the interim government. Muhammad Yunus distributed the responsibilities of various Ministries/Departments. Among these, the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance and Planning was given to Dr. Saleh Uddin Ahmed.
