The nomination papers of Nawabganj, Parvatipur and Phulbari upazila parishads of Dinajpur district in the fourth phase of upazila parishad elections have been submitted on Thursday (09 May). A total of 32 candidates for the post of chairman, vice chairman and female vice chairman in these three upazilas submitted their nomination papers, 11 for the post of chairman, 12 for the post of vice chairman and 9 for the post of female vice chairman. In the fourth phase, the election of these three Upazila Parishads of Dinajpur will be held on June 5. Also, the scrutiny of nominations will be held on May 12. Appeals against the Returning Officer’s decision are from May 13 to 15. The last day for withdrawal of candidature is May 19. Symbols will be allotted on May 20.
Nawabganj Upazila Parishad of Dinajpur has submitted nomination papers of 3 persons for the post of chairman, 6 persons for the post of vice chairman and women for the post of vice chairman. 4 people Those who submitted nomination papers for the post of chairman are Md Ataur Rahman, Tajwar Mohammad Fahim and Nizamul Hasan. Aftabuzzaman, Md Azizar Rahman, Md Wais Kuruni, Md Golam Feroz Kabir, Md Ainul Haque Chowdhury and Md Abdur Razzaq are on the post of Vice Chairman.

Those who submitted their nomination papers for the post of chairman are Md Kazi Abdul Ghafoor, Md Hafizul Islam Pramanik, Md Atiqur Rahman Atik, Md Hajjazul Islam and Md Aminul Islam. Md. Dinajpur’s Phulbari Upazila Parishad Elections 3 people have submitted nomination papers for the post of chairman, 4 people for the post of vice chairman and 3 people for the post of female vice chairman. In the third phase, polling of Dinajpur (Sadar), Khansama and Chirirbandar upazila parishads will be held on May 29.
