A case has been filed by the Bijaynagar police station of Brahmanbaria, naming 15 people and 150/200 others as defendants under the Suppression of Terrorism Act.
On Sunday, the police of Bijayanagar police station filed this case as the plaintiff. Two people have been arrested in this case. The arrested are Md Hossain Mia (27) son of Abdur Rahim of Vittidaudpur village of the upazila and Imran Mia (34) son of Hormuz Ali of Paharpur village.
According to the statement of the case, this case has been registered under section 6/7/12 of the Anti-Terrorism Act for the crime of intimidation by a group of people on the Chandura highway road of the upazila on the night of November 14.
Officer-in-charge of Bijaynagar police station, Md. Roshan Ali, said that on the night of November 14, the case was filed against the police for the crime of organizing acts against peace and order at the Dakbungalow junction of the Chandura highway road of the upazila. Legal action will be taken against those who try to disturb the peace and order.
