Miscreants are illegally cutting the trees of Pirojpur Zilla Parishad. When a teacher named Sheikh Golam Kibria of Nesharabad police station obstructed the cutting of trees by the district council, the terrorists threatened to beat him up and kill him. On 10/04/2024 at 5:30 PM, four terrorists cut down the tree of Zilla Parishad near Sehangal Tempu Stand. They are 1/Sheikh Russell Orofe Rahat Hossain 2/Sheikh Rob 3/Sheikh Monir 4/Sheikh Tofajzel Hossain and some other terrorists. At that time, when he obstructed them from cutting trees, the terrorists tried to injure and kill a person named Sheikh Golam Kibria with abusive language. He said when I screamed in fear, some local people saved me. Even though the terrorists could not harm me much when confronted by the local people, they continued to abuse and threaten me. They even cut down various trees on my land along with forcefully occupying my land. When my family and I tried to stop them, they started threatening us with various threats including killing us. I along with my family are now afraid of terrorists. I filed a MP case related to land in Pirojpur learned court along with Zilla Parishad. Case No-216/2024 (Necha) Section-Fouka: B144/145 of the case is ongoing and in spite of the ban of the court, they are building houses and possessions on the land. They are even insisting on constructing houses by piling bricks, sand and cement on the land prohibited by the court, which I consider to be contempt of court. I stopped them from building a house on the said land and they have been threatening me and my family members to kill me and my family members if I believe in the court order. I filed a complaint in Nesharabad police station against Ja. The officer-in-charge said that legal action will be taken against the culprits subject to investigation.
