Organized by the Chhatra Dal of Government Degree College in Galachipa, Patuakhali, on February 10 at 11 am, a human chain and protest rally was held for about two hours to protest against violence, oppression, torture, rape, online harassment, deterioration of law and order situation and impunity against women across the country.
Municipal Chhatra Dal convener Md. Abdullah Emdadul, Government College Chhatra Dal member secretary Md. Nur Nasirullah Habib, members of the Upazila Government College Chhatra Dal branch and general students were also present at the event.
At this time, they demanded the highest possible justice for the rapists through the participation of 100/120 students of the college branch and the public at all levels of the society.
Later, after circling various streets of the city, the human chain ended peacefully.
