A National Vitamin A Plus campaign notification and planning meeting was held at Barura, Comilla, organized by the Upazila Health Complex.
Barura Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Nu Emong Marma Mong spoke as the chief guest at the meeting under the chairmanship of Dr. Md. Muhibus Salam Khan, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, at Barura Upazila Health Complex auditorium on Thursday, May 30 at 1 p.m.
Barura Upazila Family Planning Officer Md. Yasin Mia, assistant professor of Jhlam High School and College and correspondent journalist of Daily Jayzaydin newspaper Md. Masud Majumdar spoke on the occasion.
Journalist Md. Abul Hasem, President of Barura Press Club, General Secretary Journalist Md. Ilyach Ahmad, Publicity Editor of Barura Upazila Press Club and Staff Reporter of Dainik Samajkanth Journalist Md. Sharif Uddin were present at the event. Civil society representatives including medical officers, nurses and health assistants of the upazila health complex were present on the occasion.
In the event, the speakers requested everyone’s cooperation and advice to implement the national Vitamin A Plus campaign in Barura on June 1.
