The National Gold Cup (Boys Under-17) Football Tournament has been inaugurated in Nalchiti, Jhalokati.
On Wednesday (January 15), at 10:30 am, the tournament was inaugurated by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Nazrul Islam at Nalchiti China Ground organized by the Upazila Administration.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nalchiti Police Station Abdus Salam, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Anwar Azim, Upazila Rural Development Officer Obaidul Islam, Fisheries Officer Ramoni Kumar Mistry were present at the event.
UNO Md. Nazrul Islam said, sports basically teach us discipline. It plays a role in our unity and team work to reach a goal. Various events have been organized on the occasion of the youth festival. A total of 8 teams will participate in the football tournament.
