On the occasion of celebrating National Girl Child Day 2024, a discussion meeting, distribution of awards and cultural programs were held on the initiative of Dinajpur District Administration and Dinajpur Women’s Affairs Directorate keeping in mind the theme of ‘Bangladesh for the future of girl child’s dreams’.
On Monday (September 30-2024) at Dinajpur Shishu Academy Auditorium, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohammad Noor-e-Alam spoke as the chief guest on the occasion of celebrating National Girl Child Day 2024 by Dinajpur District Administration and Dinajpur Directorate of Women Affairs. .
Dr Najiba Jabeen, Medical Officer of Civil Surgeon Office, Assistant Director of Dinajpur Consumer Rights Directorate and District Cultural Officer Min Ara Parveen Dalia spoke as special guests on the occasion under the chairmanship of Dinajpur Women Affairs Directorate Deputy Director Mo Morshed Ali Khan.
Dinajpur Women’s Directorate Day Care Officer Rezvin Sarminaz among others spoke at the event Bilquis Ara Faiz, General Secretary of Handicapped Schools and Rehabilitation Organization, Aleya Begum, General Secretary of Meghna Women and Child Development Organization, Samira Khatun of BRAC Office, Raonak Ara Haque Nipa, representative of Palli Sri, Fahmida Tasneem Bushra, student of Shardveshari Girls High School and Collectorate School and College. After the discussion, the chief guest, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohammad Noor-e-Alam gave away the prizes to the winners of the essay competition. At the end, a wonderful cultural program was held by the children.
