Yesterday on 10th July 2024 AD at 12.15 PM a raiding team of RAB-10 conducted an operation in Haludiya Bazar Bridge area under Lauhjong police station of Munshiganj district and recovered approximately 1,02,000/-(One Lakh Two Thousand) 340 (Three Hundred Forty) Rupees. ) Arrested 01 drug dealer with peace yaba tablets. The name of the arrested drug dealer is Ashiqul Islam @ Rakib (32), father- Mokhed Bepari, mother- Maqsuda Akhter, Sang- Jahanabad, UP-Baghra, Thana-Srinagar, District-Munshiganj. During this time cash- 14,000/- (fourteen thousand) was recovered from him.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested person is a professional drug dealer. He had been supplying Yaba and other drugs to Munshiganj and surrounding areas for quite some time.
A drug case has been registered against the arrested person in the concerned police station.
