MP Khosru Chowdhury has collected praise from the people of the area for stopping extortion and drugs in 18 constituencies of the capital Dhaka.
He was elected as an MP in the 12th National Parliament election last January 7th as an independent candidate with a large number of votes on the kettle symbol.
Uttara Khan of the constituency stopped extortion by marching on different routes of Uttara Model Town including Dakshin Khan from the day after he was elected to protect the consensus in the area. In the area, thousands of auto-rickshaws used to charge Tk 200 GP per day. Auto-rickshaw sidewalk stalls and even a vegetable van shopkeeper are not spared from extortion.
After searching, it is known that every point in Uttara is now closed for subscription betting. However, the long-standing conglomerate cycle has not stopped to hold the subscription stake.
For the past few years, battery-powered auto-rickshaw token business, occupation of the Laguna GP footpath, extortion betting were going on all over the constituency’s 14 wards and 7 police stations. They have been closed since January 8 last. However, the various routes of Turag police station were not closed. Sidewalk shopkeepers and several auto-rickshaw drivers say that Khosru Chowdhury is a good person and he has kept his word. We want such MP again and again.
MP Khosru Chowdhury is working with unwavering trust in the public leader Sheikh Hasina to bring back the cleanliness in the social and political arena.
There are allegations of attacks and conspiracy against the local political circles especially the former MP Alhaj Habib Hassan to stop the enthusiasm of the newly elected MP of Dinbadal.
At various times before the elections, Atiqur Rahman Milon, leader of Uttar Khan Thana Awami League, Azad, leader of West Thana Awami League, were victims of election campaign attacks on Khosru Chowdhury’s kettle symbol. However, it has been seen from the political arena that MP Khosru Chowdhury is spending his time to ensure the urban benefits of the unplanned Uttara 18 seat away from the revenge mentality.
