Comilla Barura in free food items have been distributed among the poor and low caste people who are suffering due to the recent situation of the country at the invitation of the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
A Z M Shafiuddin Shamim, Member of Parliament of Comilla-8 Barura Constituency was present as the chief guest at the free food distribution program under the chairmanship of former Mayor of Barura Municipality Md. Bahaduruzzaman at the initiative of Barura Upazila and Municipal Awami League at Barura Upazila Parishad Auditorium at 11 am on Saturday, July 27. Mayor of Barura Municipality Md. Baktar Hossain, former Chairman of Municipality Md. Mubarak Hossain Mir, Member Secretary of SQ Foundation Md. Tofail Hossain, Vice Chairman of Barura Upazila Parishad Md. Farhad Hossain were present as special guests.
President of Barura Upazila Awami Swachhasevak League Nashir Uddin Mihir, general secretary Md. Bappi Ahmed, president of Municipal Awami Swachhasevak League Md. Monowar Hossain, general secretary Md. Mohin, MP’s personal officer Md. On this day, MP A ZM Shafiuddin Shamim’s personal fund SQ Foundation distributed free food items to 200 poor people of Barura Municipality. Later, free food items will be distributed among the poor in 15 unions of Barura upazila.
