Organized by the Samajtantrik Chhatra Front Moulvibazar district, a training workshop on post-flood health care was held in the municipal hall on August 27 morning with the participation of students from various educational institutions of the city. The workshop was inaugurated by student leader Biswajit Nandi and moderated by anti-discrimination student movement leader Rajeev Sutradhar. Moinur Rahman Magnu. Former President of District BMA Dr. MA Ahad spoke as the Chief Guest. The chief trainer was Dr. Satyakam Chakraborty, the former director of the health department and a friendly doctor. Among other trainers were – District Basad member M. Khachru Chowdhury, Moulvibazar 250 Bed General Hospital Registrar Dr. Joydeep Pal and Sadar Upazila Medical Officer Dr. Sangh Mitra Dey and others. At the beginning of the workshop, a minute’s silence was observed to pay respect to the memory of martyr and national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
