Brahmanbaria is winter in Konkan. But the campaign picked up speed. On a misty morning, simultaneous election campaigning was conducted at Akhaura in Brahmanbaria. Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque MP campaigned for Awami League nominated candidate in Brahmanbaria- (Kasba-Akhaura) constituency.

According to upazila Awami League sources, an election public meeting was called in Akhaura municipal area on Friday afternoon. However, the public meeting was canceled after learning that the campaign time was over at eight in the morning. Later, it was decided to go door-to-door campaigning on Friday from seven to eight in the morning.

In light of this, leaflets were distributed on behalf of the minister in Radhanagar, Devgram, Taragan, Masjid Para, Kharampur, Durgapur areas of the municipal area from seven in the morning. Leaders and activists divided into groups and campaigned.

It has been found that there are 44 central committees in Akhaura upazila. 101 to 401 members in each committee. In total, more than 12 thousand listings. Women workers are working beyond this. People on that list will draw voters. The total number of voters is one lakh 26 thousand 204 people. As such, if each worker pulls 10 voters, it is possible to get 100% voters.

Akhaura Upazila Awami has claimed that it will not be difficult to attract voters in the way they have drawn the table. Awami League is optimistic about the massive voter turnout. People’s enthusiasm about the vote has made them more optimistic.

In contrast, the other two candidates are not well known. That is why Nirvar Anisul Haque. However, there is no shortage of campaigns for him in both upazilas.
