To share the joy of Eid, new Eid clothes and Eid items and iftar have been distributed to more than a hundred underprivileged children and their families in Joypurhat. These were distributed on the premises of Shishu Bikash Pre-Cadet School on Haji Madrasa Road in the city on Wednesday (March 26) evening under the initiative of the voluntary organization ‘Simpathi to You’.
Present at the time were the chairman of the organization Mashiur Rahman, Gynaecologist of Joypurhat General Hospital Dr. Jannatun Ferdous Shapla, Headmaster of Shantinagar Government Primary School Begum Nehari Jannat, Headmaster of Jamalganj Government Primary School Tasnim Siddiqui and Headmaster of Shishu Bikash Pre-Cadet School Khairul Islam.
More than a hundred children and their guardians were present at the program. At the end, Eid items and iftar were handed over to them.
Mashiur Rahman, the chairman of the organization, said, “We have distributed new Eid clothes, Eid items and iftar to more than 100 underprivileged children in the area. Our main goal was to bring smiles to their faces so that no one is deprived of the joy of Eid.”
