A schoolgirl named Farzana Akhtar Baisakhi (15) committed suicide by hanging herself in her house after writing this in a note, “Mother, I am dying, “Rafi” is fully responsible for my death. On Tuesday afternoon, the police recovered Zakir Miar’s body along with a note from the housing area of Laksham Municipality. The deceased student Farzana Akhter Baisakhi is a 9th class student of Comilla High School. She is the daughter of late Fareed Mia and Jasmine Akhter, residents of Bypass Housing Area of Laksam Municipality. The victim’s mother Jasmine Akhter filed a murder case against the accused Shahadat Hossain Rafi at the police station on Tuesday night. Thana police arrested accused Rafi in the night and sent him to Comilla court on Wednesday morning. The person written in the note and the arrested Shahadat Hossain Rafi is the son of Jahangir Alam, a resident of Sonaberi area of Bangadda Union of Nangalkot Upazila. According to police and local sources, Jasmine Akhtar, the wife of deceased Farid Mia, and her children are renting a room in Zakir Mia Bhavan in Bypass Housing State area in the city. Leaving schoolgirl Farzana Akhter Baisakhi at home, mother Rozina Akhter went to work in a private hospital as usual. On Tuesday afternoon, he came home after work and found his daughter hanging from the ceiling fan. Then his self-screaming people came and informed the police. The police recovered the body of the student along with the note. It is written in the note, mother, I am dying, if you can, measure me……….. Shahadat Hussain Rafi is fully responsible for my death. Laksam police station recovered the body of the school girl and sent it to Comilla morgue for autopsy. In this regard, Laxam Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdullah Al Mahfuz said, after receiving information, the body was recovered and sent to the District Headquarters Hospital for post-mortem. The victim’s mother filed a case against Shahadat Hossain Rafi as the plaintiff. Accused Shahadat Hossain Rafi was arrested and sent to Comilla court on Wednesday morning.
