A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between International Standard University (ISU) and Universal Medical College Hospital. The event was held at the university’s Mohakhali campus on Monday morning.
In the presence of ISU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Awal Khan, ISU Treasurer H. T. M. Quader Newaz and Universal Medical College Hospital Managing Director Dr. Ashish Kumar Chakraborty, Assistant General Manager, AKM Shahed Hossain signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
Through this agreement, doctors, officials and employees of Universal Medical College Hospital and their family members will get special waiver and scholarship benefits for studying in honors and masters courses at ISU. In addition, from now on, teachers, officials and employees of ISU will get various facilities and benefits at the hospital for receiving medical services.
Also present at the event were ISU’s Dean of the Faculty of Business Education, Professor Dr. Manjur Morshed Mahmud, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Professor Md. Abul Kashem, IQAC Director Professor Dr. Md. Ekramul Haque, Registrar Md. Faizullah Kaushik, Admission Director Gias Uddin, Deputy Manager of Universal Medical College Hospital Mohiuddin Gazi, Senior Executive Abuhena Md. Shahiduzzaman, Executive Corporate Md. Jonayed Hasan, and senior officials of both institutions.
