In Habaspur of Pangsha Upazila of Rajbari, on October 28, 2006, the case filed against the murderers was revived, arrest of the murderers, demand for confirmation of punishment and mass gathering was held on the occasion of Genocide Day. Organized by Bangladesh Jamaat Islami Habaspur Union Branch, this public meeting was held at 3 o’clock on Monday (October 28) adjacent to Habaspur Bazar.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Pangsha Upazila was present in the public meeting. Amjad Hossain, Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat Islami Habaspur Union Branch Hafez Maulana Sheikh Saidul Islam Saeed, General Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat Islami Habaspur Union Branch Abdul Wahab, Finance Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat Islami Habaspur Union Branch Anisur Rahman, Assistant Finance Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat Islami Habaspur Union Branch Hafez Md. . Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Habaspur union branch president and general secretary Brind along with Ariful Islam. At the end of the public meeting, prayers were offered for the souls of those who died in the massacre.
