Shaheron Bewa, the woman who snatched the mic during the house handover ceremony of Mahishamuri shelter project in Kaliganj upazila of Lalmonirhat, has been given a financial grant by the district administration.
Kaliganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Zahir Imam on behalf of the district administration gave five thousand taka in cash along with dry food, rice, dal oil, sugar potato as a financial donation on behalf of the district administration. Later, a medical team under the leadership of Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Ali Rajib Mohammad Nasser examined the health of Shaheron Bewar and provided necessary medicine.
Kakina UP Chairman Tahir Tahu, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Ferdous Alam were present. At that time, Shaheron Bewa said, I wanted to tell the honorable Prime Minister that we could have stayed in Paka House today because of him. I don’t feel the sun, rain or storm anymore. Hon’ble Prime Minister heard about my suffering and expressed his gratitude for sending cash and rice and prayed for him.
