Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal said that level playing field will be ensured in Khulna City Corporation elections. Everyone will have equal opportunities. Elections will be free, fair and impartial. There will be no partisan election. He said this while speaking as the chief guest at an exchange meeting with city corporation election candidates at Khulna Shilpakala Academy Auditorium on Tuesday (May 30). The CEC said that there is not the slightest chance of altering the results through tampering or tampering with electronic voting machines. If you have any doubts, you can go to the court. Habibul Awal said that no voter can be prevented from voting. Voters’ rights cannot be curtailed in any way. Monitoring will be done centrally through CCTV cameras. CEC also said about ensuring a level playing field in the elections, everyone will have equal opportunities in the elections. Elections will be free, fair and impartial. There will be no partisan election. Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md. Election Commissioner Brigadier General Md. was the special guest in the exchange meeting under the chairmanship of Zillur Rahman. Ahsan Habib Khan (Retd.), Election Commission Secretariat Secretary Md. Jahangir Alam. Khulna Deputy Commissioner Yasir Arifin, Khulna Metropolitan Police Commissioner Masudur Rahman Bhuiyan, Khulna Range Police DIG Moinul Haque, District Police Superintendent Mahbub Hasan and others were present in the meeting. 180 candidates participated in the exchange meeting. Khulna City elections will be held on June 12. Five lakh 35 thousand 529 voters will exercise their right to vote in the election.
