Landslide in Naikyangchhari and a fire disaster preparedness exercise was demonstrated. The organizer of this 6 disaster exercise exhibition was Onaikkon Churite Pahar-Tosh and the implementing organizations were Local Disaster Volunteers, Fire Services and Civil Defense and Red Crescent Society and Grouse.Grouse Bandarban was in full support of the exercise exhibition program held at the Haji Firoza Begum Private Primary School ground in the Upazila Sadar for an hour and a half from 10 am on Friday (December 27). Hundreds of visitors and students were present at the program.Former Upazila Chairman Mohammad Iqbal, Upazila BNP President Arif Ullah Chuttu, Sabek Vice Chairman (Women) Sanjida Akhter Runa, Assistant Upazila Education Officer Akhter Hossain were the guests.
Besides, officials of the organizers and associate organizations were present. The event featured several important drills including landslide drills, fire drills, warning messages, storm drills, and quick medical care for the injured. Hundreds of spectators watched and applauded the organizers.
