In a special operation of Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station, Sadar Police Station arrested 2 smugglers with 22 bottles of Indian banned Phencidil.
On Wednesday (May 17) night, in a special operation led by Lalmonirhat Sadar police station officer in-charge Ershadul Alam, 2 Ramakrishna Sheel (22) with 22 bottles of Indian prohibited Phencidil were recovered from the paved road in front of the toll booth on the north side of Teesta road bridge in East Dalalpara Maujastha under Lalmonirhat police station No. 08 Gokunda Union. And Vasudev Roy (20) was arrested by the police.
The arrested accused Ramkrishna Sheel (22) is the son of Sri Kanak Kumar Sheel of Uttar Dalgram (Tetultala) area of Kaliganj Upazila of Lalmonirhat District. The other accused Basudev Rai Basu (20) is the son of Shri Satya Narayan of the same village of the same upazila.
36 (1) Table 13 (b) / 41 Narcotics Control Act, 2018 against the arrested accused and sent to jail.
In this regard, Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ershadul Alam confirmed the truth of the incident.
