Lalmonirhat Municipality’s budget of 48 crore 78 lakh 86 thousand 511 rupees for the fiscal year 2024-25 was announced and discussion meeting was held.
Municipal Mayor Rezaul Karim Swapan announced the budget in the municipal shopping complex auditorium on Saturday morning, July 13.
In the proposed budget of 2024-2025, the revenue income is estimated at 13 crore 44 lakh 95 thousand 708 taka, income from water branch is 63 lakh 30 thousand 365 taka, and the receipt of development implementation sector is 34 crore 69 lakh 97 thousand 447 taka.
Municipal Executive Officer Haranand Roy, Accounts Officer, Shafiqul Islam, councilors, civil society leaders and journalists from electronic and print media were present at the budget announcement ceremony.
