A cyclist named Ranju (55) was killed after being hit by a truck in Kaliganj of Lalmonirhat. He died after being hit by a truck on Lalmonirhat-Burimari highway at Chowdhury Mor area of ​​Tushbhandar Union of Kaliganj Upazila on Wednesday afternoon.
Deceased Ranju Mia is the son of deceased Velu Sheikh of Nohali area of ​​Bhotmari union of the same upazila. Officer-in-charge of Kaliganj police station OC Imtiaz Kabir said that on Wednesday afternoon, Ranju Mia was going to Tushbhandar on a bicycle. He died on the spot when the killer truck hit him on the way in Chowdhury Mor area. The killer truck was seized but the driver escaped. The truck is currently in police custody.
