The assistant teachers of the primary formed a human chain in Lalmonirhat demanding the implementation of 10th grade.
The hour-long human chain was held in front of the Lalmonirhat Primary Teacher Training Center (PTI) building on Thursday (September 19) morning.
The speakers in the human chain organizing the primary assistant teachers said that the assistant teachers in the primary department are still in the 13th grade with third grade status. The teachers of this department are teaching children at the first level of education in nation building.
Despite working hard, they remain in the status of third class employees. Which became the demand of time for promotion to 10th grade.
Therefore, the teachers demanded the current interim government to change the 13th grade to 10th grade.
