The Sadar Thana police have recovered the headless body of an unidentified woman (30) from a corn field in Lalmonirhat. The body was recovered from a corn field in the Fulgachh Bamantari crematorium area of ​​Mogolhat Union in Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila on Wednesday (March 5) afternoon.
Locals said that a local farmer went to cut grass for his cows in a corn field near his house. As soon as he went to the corn field, he saw the headless body of a woman lying in the aisle of the field. He immediately ran and informed his local people about the matter. Later, when the locals informed the police station, the police recovered the headless body of the unidentified woman from the spot and sent it to the Lalmonirhat Sadar Hospital morgue.
Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nur Nabi confirmed the matter and said that the DB and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the police are also working in the field with the police to unravel the mystery of the murder and identify the body. The head of the body is being searched for, and the identity of the body will be known only if the head is found.
