Last Saturday morning, BGB members repaired and renovated the broken road construction in the Jora Bridge area of ​​Dharla River in Jongrabanda Union of Patgram Upazila. According to BGB sources, due to water flow, the ground collapsed on both sides of the approach road near Dharla river in Ward No. 5 of Jongra Union of Patgram Upazila, causing the road to be impassable.
As a result, about 10-12 thousand ordinary people of 10 neighborhoods and students of educational institutions, along with all types of vehicles, face great difficulty in transporting patients and bringing patients. When the BGB came to know about the suffering of the local public, under the guidance of Rangpur sector, under the guidance of 61 BGB, around 335 feet palisade, 15,000 cft of soil, construction of ancillary road surface with 02 side drains and more than 50 tree plantings and turfing were done by local students. ) road repair and renovation work started including installation.
