Last Friday afternoon, a team of Lalmonirhat District DB Police raided near the house of Jahangir Alam in Kakina Rudreshwar area of ​​Kaliganj Upazila and arrested two drug dealers named Saiful Islam (32) and Sharif (25) with 40 bottles of Phencidil. The detained Saiful Islam is the son of Majid Mia of Shalbon Mistry Para area of ​​Rangpur City. Sharif is the son of Jobed Ali of West Bezgram area of ​​Hatibandha area.
In this regard, Lalmonirhat DB Police OC Amirul Islam confirmed the truth of the incident and said that the detainees admitted in the initial interrogation that they have been collecting drugs from the border area of ​​Lalmonirhat for a long time and supplying them to different districts of the country including Lalmonirhat. SI Ferdous Alam, who raided the Kaliganj police station of Lalmonirhat district, filed a case under the Narcotics Control Act against the arrested accused.
