Laksam Upazila Administration organized a discussion meeting and award distribution ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman receiving the ‘Julio Kuri Peace Medal’. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mahfuza Matin presided over the discussion meeting and award distribution ceremony organized at Laksam Upazila Auditorium on Sunday, May 28 at 11:00 am. Assistant Commissioner (Lands) Farhanur Rahman, Upazila Social Service Officer Novel Chandra Das, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Farhanur Rahman, World Bangladash Laxam Upazila AP Shyamal Francis Rosario, Paschimgaon Model Government Primary School Acting Principal Shah Alam spoke. Upazila election officer Rakibul Karim along with officials of different departments of upazila, employees and students of different schools were also present at this time. Later prizes were distributed among the students.
