On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the national English daily The Daily Present Times, a cake was cut and the founding anniversary was celebrated in Laksam.
On Saturday morning, the event was held at the Laksam Upazila Parishad auditorium under the chairmanship of Comilla South District Representative of The Daily Present Times and Executive Member of Laksam Journalists Union Md. Nur Alam Manik and moderated by Journalist Md. Shahidul Islam, Executive Member of Laksam Journalists Union. Former President of Laksam Press Club, Laksam Correspondent of Daily Ittefaq, and veteran journalist Md. Abdul Quddus were present as the chief guests.
Special guests included former acting president of Laksam Press Club, Laksam correspondent of Daily Kaler Kanth, veteran journalist Mujibur Rahman Dulal, Comilla South District Correspondent of Daily Dinkal, Mashiur Rahman Selim, joint convener of Laksam Press Club, Laksam correspondent of Daily Jayjaydin Arifur Rahman Swapan, general secretary of Laksam Journalists Union, Laksam correspondent of Daily Alokot Bangladesh, Mohammad Abdur Rahim, member secretary of Laksam Press Club, Laksam correspondent of Daily Bangladesh Pratidin, Faruk Al Sharah, staff reporter of Daily Ajker Jibon, executive member of Laksam Journalists Union, Zafar Ahmed.
