Atarshi Biswa Zaker Manzil at Sadarpur in Faridpur has started the four-day Biswa Urs Sharif like every year. On Friday (February 16), Urs proceedings officially began with the recitation of the holy Fateha Sharif and the Rawza Sharif prayer of Atarshi Pir. Millions of Muslims participated in Friday prayers.
Shafiqul Islam Shafiq, Head of Publicity of Zaker Manzil Darbar Sharif, said that lakhs of Ashekans-Zakerans, devout Muslims and devotees of different religions are gathering in Urs Sharif from different places of the country. This year, for the first time, a train convoy has been added from North Bengal. In addition to the daily obligatory and sunnah worships, various activities of the Tariqat are performed, including Nafal worship and asking for Zeke.
On Tuesday (February 20) morning, the event will be concluded with the final prayer under the guidance of Khwaja Mahfuzul Haque, the successor of Atarshi Pir. Foundation of Biswa Zaker Manzil Shah Sufi Hazrat Maulana Khajababa Faridpuri (Rah) Saheb was the famous Sufi saint of subcontinent Hazrat Khwaja Yunus Ali Enayetpuri (Rah) Saheb. Hazrat Enayetpuri (RA) died in 1952. Since then till today the Great Holy Urs Sharif is celebrated in Manzil Darbar Sharif of Biswa Zak.
“On the day when the holy spirit of the saint meets the soul of the world, on that day the religious ceremonies celebrated for the sake of his holy soul are known as “Urs”. It is a very blessed and virtuous event. Urs Sharif is a holy religious event beneficial to the world.
In the Holy Urs Sharif, in the light of Quranic Hadith, Waj Nasihat, interpretation of the significance and importance of Shariat, discussion regarding the necessity of knowledge of God, practice of knowledge of God, i.e. Zaker, Rabeta, Moraqaba, Shogal and Mohashaba, various types of Faiz are observed. No action against Sharia is done here.
Every day people come to Biswa Zak Manjil, but at one time of the year people flock to the holy Urs Sharif. No one has seen so many people before. The flood of people broke the dam. People come here in search of peace, in order to find Allah and the Messenger, in the hope of salvation in this life and the hereafter.

Starting after Friday (February 16), Shuru Hawa Urs Sharif will be held on February 17, 18, 19 and 20 on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at Manzil Darbar Sharif of Biswa Zaker. On Tuesday, February 20th, the Holy Urs Sharif will be concluded with the last prayer of Shah Sufi Hazrat Maulana Khajababa Faridpuri (RA) Saheb.
