7 pieces of body of a young man named Milan Hossain (24) have been recovered in Kushtia. The police recovered the dismembered body from the sand dunes of Haripur area on Saturday morning, February 3, 2024. 4 people have been arrested in this incident.
Kushtia Model Police Officer (OC) Sohel Rana confirmed the matter and he said, on the confession of Kushtia District Chhatra League Vice-President Sajeeb, after the Kushtia District Police’s night-long operation, 4 murderers were arrested including 7 pieces of body of a young man named Milon from Haripur Padma Char. . The deceased Milan Hossain is the son of Mawla Bux of East Bahir Madi area of Daulatpur Upazila of Kushtia. He also worked in outsourcing while studying. He got married last 10 months. Kushtia lived with his wife in a rented house next to Eidgah. The family members of the deceased say that we do not know anything about the reason why Milon was killed. In the morning, I heard that the police recovered Milon’s 7-piece body. I demand exemplary punishment for all those involved in this murder. Let all the killers be arrested quickly and brought under the law. Milon’s wife Mimi Khatun told the correspondent that Sajal of the housing area called Milon. After meeting him, he came home and left again around 11:30 on Wednesday. Later he was missing. On that day I made a GD at Kushtia Model Police Station. My husband’s mobile number was open till the next afternoon. But the police did not pay attention, if they paid attention, they could have saved my husband alive. Police recovered his body this morning. My husband was killed in a planned manner. I demand exemplary punishment for those involved in the murder. Kushtia General Hospital Mortuary Laxman said Milan was killed in 7 pieces. I recovered the body and brought it to the morgue. In this regard, Kushtia Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sohel Rana told the correspondent that the dismembered body was recovered and sent to the Kushtia General Hospital morgue for autopsy. 4 people have been arrested in this incident.
