The case was filed in Khalishpur police station of the metropolis on Wednesday (August 21) in the case of vandalism, arson and attack on the leaders and workers in Ward No. 7 office. The plaintiff in the case is Ilyas Sheikh, the joint convener of BNP Ward No. 7 of the city. The attack took place on August 27, 2022.
Khalishpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC Investigation) Ashish Maitra confirmed the matter and said that 75 people have been named in the case and 50/60 others have been named as accused.
