Kalkini Upazila Parishad of Madaripur newly elected chairman and male and female vice chairmen took oath.
Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Md Sabirul Islam recited the oath in the conference room of Dhaka Divisional Commissioner on Monday (June 24) afternoon.
Newly elected Kalkini upazila chairman Toufikuzzaman Shahin, male vice chairman Md Iqbal Hossain and female vice chairman Arifa Akhtar Bithi took oath at the ceremony.
After taking the oath, leaders and activists of Upazila Awami League, Volunteer League, Krishak League, Chhatra League and others exchanged flowers with them.
