Kagabla Union in Law and order exchange meeting held

Mashahed Ahmed, Moulvibazar: A law and order exchange meeting was held in Binnigram area organized by Ward No. 1 of Kagabla Union, Sadar Upper, Moulvibazar. The meeting was chaired by UP member Abul Kashem and was addressed as the chief guest by Officer-in-Charge of Moulvibazar Sadar Model Police Station, Gazi Mahbubur Rahman. The special guests were Fakhrul Islam, member of the convening committee of District BNP, Saleh Ahmed, acting chairman of Kagabla Union, and Hasina Begum, reserved women UP member. Among others who spoke were former UP members Akbar Ali, Nikhil Mohan Baidya, Abdul Majid, Matlib Mia, Abdur Rahman, Asad Mia, Shahid Mia, Ilias Mia, Abdus Chattar Khan, Union Jubo Dal leader Sumon Ahmed, Union Chhatra Dal leader Imran Ahmed, Beat Officer SI Partha Ranjan, ASI Shahinur Rahman and other conscious citizens. People from different walks of life present at the meeting spoke about the increase in various criminal tendencies including Mad Kishore gangs in the area and drew the attention of the police station OC. At the meeting, the speakers emphasized the recent improvement in the law and order situation in the area, the necessary steps for the development of the union including drugs, terrorism, gambling and ensuring peace, stability and security of the people. Moulvibazar Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Gazi Mahbubur Rahman said in his speech – Zero tolerance against drugs. If there is a delay in providing police services, contact me directly. The police are working to maintain overall law and order and protect people’s safety. He also expressed confidence that the local people will play an important role in increasing coordination between law enforcement agencies.
