Journalist Union Dinajpur’s founding anniversary celebrated

The preparatory meeting was held on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Journalist Union Dinajpur (2936) and the general meeting was held on the 14th June 2023 at the 2nd floor of Jame Masjid Market, Dinajpur Station Road. Dinajpur Journalist Union President General Secretary, Executive Committee and general members were present. General editor of the union Mahfizul Islam Ripon presided over the program. Tajul Islam, Assistant General Secretary Abdus Salam, Korban Ali Sohel, Treasurer said. Belal Hossain (Raju), Organization-Editor Sayem Siddiqui, Publicity-Editor Farhad Rahman Khokon, Office Secretary Belal Hossain (Joy), Working Executive Member Rubel Sarkar, Member Ismail Hossain Md. Under the chairmanship of Tajul Islam, a special prayer was offered by the joint general secretary of the union, Abdus Salam, to pray for the soul of the late former minister Khurshid Jahan Haque Chocolate and for the well-being of martyred President Ziaur Rahman’s co-religionist Begum Khaleda Zia. Union activists and all members were present in the event.
