Journalist Shakib Al Helal (36) of Bagabaria village of Khoshbas North Union of Barura Upazila of Comilla has been suffering from kidney problem for a long time, his family is living in a helpless condition as the only earner of the family, Shakib Al Helal, has fallen ill, his mother sold his land and treated him. Among the two sisters, one sister is married and another younger sister is in college.

Shakib Al Helal’s physical condition deteriorated in the last few days and was taken to Shyamoli Kidney Hospital in Dhaka for better treatment. He is currently undergoing treatment at Shyamoli Hospital in Dhaka. The doctor said that if the kidney can be transplanted as soon as possible, Shakib will survive, the old mother has agreed to donate one of her kidneys to save Shakib Al Helal.
