Upazila Parishad elections, Khan Arifur Rahman and Salahuddin Khan Salim were privately elected in Nalchiti Upazila with the pineapple symbol in Jhalkathi Sadar Upazila.
Khan Arifur Rahman won by getting 33 thousand 943 votes against pineapple in Jhalkathi Sadar. Sultan Hussain Khan got 25 thousand 971 votes against his nearest rival Doat-Kalam. Salahuddin Khan Salim won by getting 23 thousand 939 votes per motorcycle in Nalchiti Upazila. Taslim Uddin Chowdhury got 16 thousand 784 votes against his closest rival Anaras.
Md. Moniruzzaman Monir was elected vice chairman by getting 22 thousand 283 votes per book in Nalchiti upazila and Ayesha Akhter Rina was elected vice chairman (female) with 24 thousand 54 votes per pot.
Meanwhile, Lashkar Asifur Rahman Dipu and Vice-Chairman (Female) Umme Salma have been elected privately in Jhalkathi Sadar Upazila Parishad elections.
