Ismail Hossain was present as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony during Jumma prayers. Kuwaiti Donor Bir Al-Jummah donated a large amount of financial support to this construction work with the help of Md. Masum Billah, a Kuwaiti expatriate from West Rajapur area. Several Muslims who prayed in the mosque said that it was very difficult for Muslims to offer prayers in the old dilapidated small mosque. Many initiatives have been taken to rebuild the small mosque and make it bigger. When Masum Billah learned about the matter, he informed Kuwaiti philanthropist Al-Jumma, who donated money for the complete construction. In addition, local people donated money and labor to complete the construction work of this mosque. Currently, more than three hundred people can perform prayers in the mosque. Islamic telegraphs carved on the tiles have increased the beauty of the mosque.
