An Iftar Mahfil of Jamaat-e-Islami was held in Laksam in honor of journalists from print and electronic media. The Iftar Mahfil was held under the chairmanship of Jamaat-e-Islami Laksam Municipality Ameer Muhammad Joynal Abedin Patwari and with the recitation of the Quran by Shafayat Ullah Rakib.
Dr. Syed AKM Sarwar Uddin Siddiqui was present as the chief guest at the Iftar Mahfil organized by the Laksam Municipality Jamaat-e-Islami on the second floor of the Comilla Restaurant in Laksam on March 18.
Advocate Badiul Alam Sujan, Public Prosecutor of the Women and Children Abuse Prevention Tribunal of the Comilla Judge Court, was present as a special guest.
The speakers included Assistant Secretary of Municipality Jamaat-e-Islami Nur Alam, President of Laksam Upazila Workers Welfare Federation AKM Shah Alam, AVP of Islami Bank Md. Sanaullah, Khorshed Alam Tuhin, Former President of Laksam Press Club Md. Abdul Quddus, Mizanur Rashid, Member Secretary of Laksam Press Club Faruk Al Sharah, among others.
