Mohammad Masood Majumdar: Jamaat-e-Islami organized a discussion meeting and prayer program on the occasion of Great Victory Day in Comilla's Barura at Nabipur village of Khoshbas North Union.On December 16, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Maulana Abul Kalam, leader of Jamaat-e-Islami and principal of Ibn Taymiyyah School and College, Muhammad Shafiqul Alam Helal, was present as the chief guest in Nabipur village. Former student leader of the university Mozammel Haque Bhuiyan, Barura municipality Amir Mofizul Islam of Jamaat Islam, secretary Khorshed Alam Patwari, former chairman of Khoshbas North Union Parishad Jamaat Islami leader Zakir Hossain, Barura Upazila Jamaat Islami Shura member Shah Alam and other leaders were present.The speakers in the meeting discussed the achievements of the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country in the 1971 independence war and prayed for the salvation of their souls. He also requested everyone's cooperation to build a free and independent state in the construction of a new Bangladesh.
