Jamaat-e-Islami of Comilla organized a protest march in protest against the brutal attack by Israel on Gaza, Palestine.
The protest march started in front of the Town Hall of Comilla city at 2 pm on Thursday (March 20) and ended with a rally after parading the main roads of the city.
The protest march and rally were led by Jamaat-e-Islami Central Majlish-e-Shura member and Nayeb-e-Amir of the Metropolitan Jamaat Md. Mosleh Uddin. Also present were Nayeb-e-Amir of the Metropolitan Jamaat Professor AK Emdadul Haque Mamun, Secretary of the Metropolitan Jamaat Md. Mahbubur Rahman and Assistant Secretaries Kamaruzzaman Sohel, Mosharraf Hossain and Nasir Ahmed Mollah.
Also present at the rally were Comilla Metropolitan Student Union President Hasan Ahmed, Comilla University Student Union President Yusuf Islam, Metropolitan Jamaat Executive Committee members Kazi Motaher Ali Dilal, Kazi Nazir Ahmed, Mohammad Hossain, Maulana Delwar Hossain Sabuj and Shahadat Hossain and other leaders.
The speakers at the rally strongly condemned Israel’s barbaric attacks on the innocent people of Palestine even after the ceasefire and demanded an immediate end to these attacks. They called on the world Muslim Ummah and the international community to unite in support of the Palestinians.
