Jackfruit Festival at Latifunnesa International School and College, Rangpur

Rangpur City Corporation, Ward No. 9, New Masterpara, Latifunnesa International School and College held a seasonal fruit jackfruit festival. The festival was celebrated on Thursday (13 July 23) with the participation of students, parents and teachers of the school. Students enjoy eating seasonal fruits during study. Parents and students are informed about the nutritional value of jackfruit, its use, care, benefits of jackfruit in human body, etc. The school authorities organized this to introduce the sweet taste and nutritional value of Madhumas fruit. Students and parents are happy to participate in such a festival. School assistant teacher Afroza Yasmin said that jackfruit is a delicious fruit, many children do not want to eat jackfruit. To encourage eating jackfruit and other seasonal fruits, we have organized fruit feasts in schools. Class IV student Russell expressed his feelings, “I used to not eat jackfruit before. Jackfruit was my dislike. From today I became a fan of jackfruit. Students who are really fond of jackfruit say, “We like the organization of jackfruit festival in our school very much. We enjoyed eating the fruit and got to know about the taste and benefits of jackfruit. Director of the institute Md. Kamrul Islam said, “Current time is the honey month of seasonal fruits. The scent of juicy fruit wafts in the air. Meanwhile, the fruit shops in the bazaar are full of various kinds of fruits. Jackfruit is the national fruit of Bangladesh. Every ounce of Tutumbur jackfruit in juice is packed with flavor. It was very nice to be able to feed the young students with their own hands at the jackfruit festival today. In the future, such an event will be held in our school every year.
