General students of International Standard University (ISU) have formed a human chain in protest against terrorism, rape and injustice across the country. The human chain was held in front of the university’s Mohakhali campus on Wednesday afternoon.

Demanding justice for Asia’s rapist, the participants in the human chain said that there can be no place for rapists in this Bengal. Women and children must be given safety from fear and be freed from the unstable environment. The ghosts of fascists are plotting a hateful conspiracy to destabilize the society through such vile acts. Therefore, the government is requested to take strict action to suppress these criminals.

The general students announced three demands in the human chain. First, the minimum punishment for the rapist should be death penalty, second, the investigation of the rape case should be completed within 7 days and the trial process should be completed within 30 days, third, the victim’s family should be provided with security and the government should take responsibility for the family.

ISU teachers and officials were present at this event for general students. After the human chain, the students held a protest march in the university area.
